Fingerprint Question....kind of

Very weird question, but I'm actually an art major and wanted to see how I would approach a task. I have a sunroof in my car and there are all of these drawings that I did with my friends over the years (using fingers, and the prints are still visible under certain lighting).
Can you tell that I need to clean my car? I was wondering if there is a way to get those prints from the glass onto some kind of paper so that I can maybe photograph them, since that would be a really cool art project. Anyway, if anyone could let me know how to approach this situation that would be great. The hardest thing I would imagine would be laying powder down on an upside-down surface. Thanks!
