Forensic Fingerprint Analyst

I am interested in pursuing a career as a forensic fingerprint analyst. Here's the twist, I am 48 years old. Is there a demand for this? Where do I go to get training for this particular career? How long is schooling? Is an on line school as acceptable as attending on campus?

I am limited on time. Is there an on the job training i can participate in?
