I am a student working on a research paper on the career we want to pursue. I need an interview source from a person who knows about or is a forensic scientist, preferably a crime laboratory analyst, pathologist, or crime scene investigator. I'd be really grateful if anybody is able to answer the following questions:
How did you get started in forensic science?
What are some advantages of forensic science?
What are some disadvantages?
What training or education did you need to complete before you were able to apply for a job?
What employment do you get out of your career?
Did you have any inspirations for getting started in forensic science? If so, what were they?
What was the most dangerous situation you have been in while working?
What precautions do you take?
What was the most difficult part of your training/education?
How many years of training/education did you take?
What university did you attend?
How much did you earn when you started and how much do you make now?
What tools do you normally use while working?
What is the standard uniform you must work in?
Does this job have steady hours? Why or why not?
Where do you generally work?
What is your contribution to an investigation?
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Janene
